Song Lam Nghe An organized the 41st anniversary celebration of Vietnamese Teachers' Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On November 17, Song Lam Nghe An Club celebrated the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023) and awarded Certificates of Merit to outstanding collectives and individuals.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nhan - Vice Chairman of the Emulation and Reward Council of Nghe An province; representatives of the Department of Culture and Sports; representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nghia - Deputy General Director of Song Lam Nghe An, Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center.
Song Lam Nghe An is a club with the longest tradition in Vietnamese football. Song Lam Nghe An's first team has 28 players, 1 head coach, and 5 assistant coaches. This season, Song Lam Nghe An's first team played 3 matches, including 2 draws and 1 loss, ranking 11th on the rankings. In addition, Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center is training 215 athletes in 9 classes by age and 28 coaches. Each year, the center is responsible for training athletes to participate in youth tournaments organized by the Vietnam Football Federation. At the end of this year's tournaments, U13 Song Lam Nghe An excellently won the 2023 National U13 Championship. In addition, U15, U19, U21 won Silver Medals; U9, U11, U17 won Bronze Medals.
At the ceremony to celebrate the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2023), Mr. Nguyen Dinh Nghia - Deputy General Director of Song Lam Nghe An, Director of Song Lam Nghe An Youth Football Training Center sent his best wishes to all teachers - those who have been imparting guidance and mentoring to generations of athletes of the center on the path of learning and growing up.
The Deputy General Director of Song Lam Nghe An emphasized: In addition to the hours of training on the field, the teachers at Song Lam Nghe An are also "fathers and mothers" who care about the meals and sleep of the children away from home day and night, with the hope that they will develop comprehensively in both physical and moral character. Even though they have to stand in the wind, dew, and sun every day, the teachers still diligently polish the rough gems to create precious gems for the country's football. Although it is so hard, every teacher is dedicated. In front of the students, the teachers are still tough people, always setting an example for the athletes to follow.
On this occasion, Nghe An province also awarded Certificates of Merit to 7 collectives and 44 individuals with outstanding achievements in 2023.
