This past week, although fans in Nghe An haven't yet enjoyed a victory from the Song Lam Nghe An first team, there have been many positive signs from the lower leagues.
First, young striker Le Khanh Toan scored a goal in Hoa Binh Club's 2-1 loss to PVF-CAND (in the 2024 First Division). This goal was also the first professional goal for the striker born in 2002.
Also in that match, other young players such as Trinh Hoang Canh and Le Van Quy were given playing time in the starting lineup of Hoa Binh Club. Thus, in both of the first two rounds of the First Division league, the trio of Khanh Toan, Hoang Canh, and Van Quy all played in the starting lineup of the team led by coach Le Quoc Vuong. Also featured in the recent First Division match were the duo Phan Duy Hào and Trương Văn Tuyển. These two young players are currently playing for Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club on loan from a team from Nghe An province.
While Phan Duy Hào played the full 90 minutes, Trương Văn Tuyển came on in the final 30 minutes of the second half. Unfortunately, this duo could only help Ho Chi Minh City Youth Club secure one point at the Đồng Tháp stadium.
Equally outstanding are the young players currently competing for PVF-CAND Youth in the Third Division. Among them, the defender stands out.Hoang Minh HoiThis young player, born in 2007, has scored in two consecutive matches for PVF-CAND Youth against Hoai Duc FC and Dong A Thanh Hoa Youth.
In addition, other young players such as Nguyen Tan Minh, Pham Quoc Khanh, and Nguyen Van Linh also scored for PVF-CAND Youth team, helping them climb to third place in Group A of the National Third Division.
