Everyone knows that SLNA's youth training foundation was not only "clearly seen, fully seen and quickly fixed" after a visit to Dao Tan, but this system has had "tentacles" in many places in the province for many years, built and contributed from kindergarten football, youth and children's football from hamlets, communes, districts and up to the province, from the efforts of many people, both the state and the people.

That effort and effort is immeasurable and is an endless resource for youth training. Not every locality has it or can spend a lot of money to have it "right away".

Maybe someone will "argue" that the HAGL or PVF training center has "surpassed" the SLNA training center many times in youth training and that is the place worth learning from? And then the fact that the Vietnam national team has recently been called by coach Park with many names such as Cong Phuong and his HAGL teammates from the famous U19 generation while SLNA only has Van Duc who is worth waiting for?

At first glance, that seems to be true when recently, HAGL and PVF have indeed introduced a few generations of players who are outstanding in many aspects, but it seems that is all there is to it. It is easy to calculate how many matches the SLNA U teams have surpassed the students of Coach Giom (Guillaume Graechen) in recent youth tournaments? And the fact that Dinh Xuan Tien and his teammates at U17, U19 SLNA have played "well in every way" along with other U generations in recent times shows that the SLNA academy has never been "out of date" as someone hastily thought?

Of course, there is another issue worth mentioning (and it seems the new investor has clearly realized) which is why such a rich and talented source of youth has not been effective in SLNA's first team for many years?

The emergence of Quang Hai, Hung Dung, Cong Phuong, Van Toan… in Vietnamese football is never a matter of luck or instant gratification, but a process of systematic and elaborate training, especially after they have achieved success in the youth levels.

SLNA is lacking and weakest in this point when the young generations are not trained carefully and scientifically, but are loaned out indiscriminately, self-study and self-maturity are the main goals, with the simple and crude goal of "playing well to be called back to the Song Lam first team" and clearly, many talents have never had the opportunity to return? Going into the long tournament but always "Van Duc carries the team" then being on the verge of relegation is something that there is no way to escape?

And fortunately, it is not difficult for new investors with good experts to realize that empiricism has been deeply ingrained in the training work of SLNA's first team, leading to the results as seen.

But the “identity” of the SLNA army is deeply ingrained in every breath, which of course cannot be obtained from “new lesson plans” or “modern methods”. That is the will to overcome difficulties, the way of playing that is not afraid of collision (which can sometimes be excessive, making someone uncomfortable), the element of national colors in every phase of the ball… are things that any military leader should not take lightly when sitting in the technical area of ​​SLNA.

Those are the things that previous generations have worked hard to cultivate and effectively promote in the conditions of very limited potential in all aspects. Ignoring or misjudging that “vital” thing, or intending to build a “United Nations” army in Vinh stadium is something that cannot be overlooked or underestimated?

Football is a difficult and capricious game as many people know. Without the abundant financial resources like SLNA has for a long time, it is impossible to keep good players, good teachers, cannot buy good foreign players and even friends who love it will be helpless and avoid it. But having enough resources does not mean that success will knock on the door regularly after each match.

Not to mention, SLNA is a team with a lot of personality, good is clear but bad is also indescribable, besides the stronghold of experience is not easy to destroy in a day or two. New and good things are very difficult to "integrate", but once they are in agreement, they will develop extremely strongly, no one can stop them.

It is to say that the joy is great and spreading when the team has a new person to take charge with new strength. Of course, there is always a feeling of sadness somewhere that is inevitable.
