"Spectre" has just been released and set a Guinness record
Although rated lower than "Skyfall", the 24th film in the "007" series just released in theaters also made its own mark when it was recognized by Guinness as a record holder for its explosive scenes.
Director Sam Mendes's product has been confirmed to be the 007 project with the largest explosion scene in the history of international cinema. With a classic spy-action film like Spectre, it is completely understandable that most of the budget is invested in explosive scenes.

With Daniel Craig's fourth time playing the dashing British spy, the Guinness World Records Organization has confirmed that the film has the largest explosion scene in cinema history for the scene in which he and co-star Lea Seydoux participated.
The two actors and producer Barbara Brocoli were honored to receive the Guinness certificate on behalf of effects director Chris Corbould – the man behind many famous Hollywood action movies such as Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, the Batman trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The award-winning scene was filmed on June 29, in Erfoud, Morocco, using 8,418 liters of oil and 33 kg of explosives.

Famous for its action films, James Bond films are not without their explosive scenes. Spectre, although not as well received as expected, was recognized by Guinness for this impressive title. Critics in the US commented that the film had beautiful effects but a lengthy script.
