Division 324 helps people build rural roads

(Baonghean.vn) - In order to meet the travel needs of local people, from February 20 to 26, 100 officers and soldiers of Regiment 1, Division 324 (Military Region 4) coordinated with Son Hai commune to level the ground and pour concrete on a 260m long road in village 2, Son Hai commune (Quynh Luu, Nghe An).

The 3.5m wide road section was poured with 20cm thick concrete, built with support from the Department of Transport, including cement, sand, gravel... and the construction work was carried out by officers and soldiers of Regiment 1, Division 324.

On this occasion, Regiment 1, Division 324 also helped the people of Son Hai commune dredge a drainage ditch about 300m long in hamlet 2 and hamlet 13, clear trees, and clean up the area around the Martyrs' Memorial and the New Well.

To promptly encourage officers and soldiers who are helping people build roads in Son Hai commune, on the afternoon of February 20, comrade Dang Ngoc Binh - Member of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district visited and gave gifts to officers and soldiers.
