Division 324 starts construction of Comrades' House

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 6, Battalion 15, Division 324 coordinated with the Party Committee, government, and organizations of Cong Luan hamlet, Cong Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the Comrades' House for comrade Thai Ngo Than - Senior Lieutenant, Political Commissar of Company 3, Battalion 15, Division 324.

Comrade Thai Ngo Than is one of the subjects with difficult circumstances, his mother has had heart valve stenosis for 9 years now, the family cannot afford treatment; his father is a war invalid with 45% disability; his wife is unemployed; his 2 children are still young; the family is a poor household in the locality. The family's economy depends on Comrade Than's salary so they cannot afford to build a house.

The project is designed in the form of a level 4 house with a total area of ​​60m2.², of which the usable area is 55m². The house is expected to cost 190 million VND in total, of which the unit will support 70 million VND from the Ministry of National Defense's "For the Poor" fund; the family will contribute 60 million VND; the total construction time will be 600 working days, worth 60 million VND, built by Battalion 15 with the family's participation in working days. The project is expected to be completed before August 30, 2017.

This project demonstrates the attention, support and facilitation of agencies at all levels to contribute to improving the situation in the rear of the Army so that cadres can feel secure in fulfilling their tasks of building and defending the Fatherland; at the same time, well implementing the Party and State's policy on eliminating temporary houses made of bamboo and reed, eliminating hunger and reducing poverty, and building new rural areas in the locality./.
