Division 324 signed a memorandum of understanding with Division 1, Lao People's Army
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 17, Division 324, Military Region 4, Vietnam People's Army held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding with Division 1, Lao People's Army.
Attending and watching the signing ceremony were Major General Tran Khac Bang - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 4; Major General Doan Ngoc Son - Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 4.

At the signing ceremony, the leaders of the two divisions gave an overview of the tasks and achievements of the units in the past time. The leaders of Division 324 thanked the Lao People's Army in general and Division 1 in particular for their wholehearted support in the results of the twinning cooperation in recent years.
In particular, recently, preparations have been well done, with 20 company-level officers of Division 1 receiving logistics training and practical study visits at Division 324. This demonstrates the effectiveness of the special solidarity relationship between Vietnam and Laos, between Division 324, Military Region 4, Vietnam People's Army and Division 1, Lao People's Army.
Based on the established cooperation policies and plans, in 2018, the two sides agreed to cooperate and coordinate to implement a number of contents, namely: Continue to strengthen and maintain the solidarity, friendship and close relationship between the two divisions, proactively coordinate and promptly inform each other of the situation related to the stationing area, unit building tasks, combat readiness tasks and a number of other activities; Division 324, Military Region 4, Vietnam People's Army exchanged a number of experiences in training, combat readiness, building a strong and comprehensive unit, contributing to firmly protecting the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country.

Before the signing ceremony, the leaders of the two divisions burned incense at the memorial house of heroic martyrs and visited the division's traditional house.
