Division 324 sees off 3,357 soldiers completing their military service
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 25, Division 324 (Military Region 4) directed agencies and units to conduct a farewell ceremony for 3,357 soldiers who completed their military service and returned to their localities in 2018.

Of the 3,357 soldiers discharged this time in 6 provinces (Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue) in 84 districts and cities; 210 soldiers were admitted to the Party, 240 soldiers were awarded the title of Emulation Soldier and 1,221 comrades were awarded the title of Advanced Soldier.

During their time in the army, the soldiers constantly strived, trained, and cultivated themselves. Through training, the comrades grasped and applied the knowledge in the process of performing tasks at the unit, their physical strength was improved, meeting the requirements of the task, knowing how to use the weapons and equipment in the establishment proficiently and effectively. The test results of the contents were 100% satisfactory, of which 88.5% were good and excellent.

After the ceremony, the units paid the regimes and standards for each individual. Before that, the units organized to study the Law on Military Service, the Ordinance on Reserve Mobilization and 100% of demobilized soldiers received vocational training cards; the units coordinated with vocational schools to promote vocational training and each soldier received a Tet gift bag from the Ministry of National Defense worth 310,000 VND, including: Cakes, candies, MSG, tea, New Year greeting cards...

Tomorrow morning (January 26), units will organize vehicles to transport soldiers to their localities. This is an important resource to supplement the reserve force, strengthening local military strength.
