Division 4 of the Lao People's Army visited and worked at Military Region 4

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 10, the delegation of Division 4 - Lao People's Army had a working session with a number of agencies and units under Military Region 4 on the contract to reward achievements in 5 years (2012 - 2017) for collectives and individuals of Military Region 4 who have made achievements in cooperation and assistance to Division 4 - Lao People's Army.

Implementing the Protocol and directives and documents of the Ministry of National Defense on cooperation and assistance to Laos, recently, the Command of Military Region 4 has directed agencies and units, including Division 968 and units under the Military Region Technical Department, to coordinate with Division 4 to effectively organize training activities to improve military training and professional skills and help Laos preserve weapons, equipment, techniques and transfer technology.

At the meeting, Division 4 - Lao People's Army requested the commanders of agencies and units of the Military Region to review and summarize the achievements and results of the collectives and individuals of the agencies and units in the cooperative relationship, helping Division 4 in recent years, so that the Division can serve as a basis for proposing the Ministry of National Defense to submit to the Lao Government for consideration of awarding various Medals and Certificates of Merit on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (September 5, 1962 - September 5, 2017) and the 40th anniversary of the signing of the Vietnam - Laos Treaty of Friendship and Comprehensive Cooperation (July 18, 1977 - July 18, 2017).
