Using drugs, two drivers in Nghe An were fined 70 million VND
Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hong Vinh signed a Decision to administratively sanction Mr. NNL (born in 1994), residing in Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Dan district and Mr. NTA (born in 1981), residing in Quang Trung ward, Vinh city.
The penalty decisions dated December 23 clearly stated that Mr. NNL drove a car with license plate 37K-081.xx, and Mr. NTA drove a car with license plate 37H-083.xx on the road while having drugs in their bodies (body test results were positive for drugs).
Accordingly, Mr. NNL and Mr. NTA were each fined VND 35 million; as prescribed in Point c, Clause 10, Article 5, Decree No. 100/2019/ND-CP dated December 30, 2019 of the Government; Clause 4, Article 23, Law on Handling of Administrative Violations (amended and supplemented in 2020).
At the same time, Mr. NNL will have his FC class driver's license revoked from the effective date of this decision until October 26, 2025; Mr. NTA will have his FC class driver's license revoked from the effective date of this decision until June 12, 2025.
