North Korea's state news agency (KCNA) reported on January 17Leader Kim Jong-un inspected and spoke at one of North Korea's most modern teachers' schools in the capital Pyongyang.

Reuters on January 17 quoted a military source as saying that the Russian-made MI-17 helicopter crashed near the town of Segovia, in Antioquia province, after departing from the town of Caucasia.
