'Immortal Regiment' event in many major cities of the Russian Far East
(Baonghean.vn) - Many major cities in the Russian Far East today held military parades to celebrate Victory Day over fascism, while "Immortal Regiment" marches took place in Khabarovsk, Vladivostok and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

More than 300 tanks, combat vehicles, multi-purpose grenade launchers, tactical ballistic missile launchers, self-propelled artillery systems and many other weapons also took part in the parades.
7,000 soldiers march in the Far East and Zabaikalsky regions.
About 1,500 servicemen from the Pacific Fleet, the Coast Guard, along with the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and cadets of the Maritime Academy marched down the main street of Vladivostok. Meanwhile, 49 bulletproof military vehicles joined the mechanized formation.
In Khabarovsk, more than 1,600 soldiers took part in the parade, about 100 of them from the Kamchatka Fleet - a peninsula in the Far East. More than 90 pieces of military equipment, including the famous Russian tank T-34 and the Katyusha multiple-purpose grenade launcher.
During the parade in Petropavlovsk - Kamchatskiy, many types of weapons and military equipment appeared for the first time, such as the S-400 Triumpf and Pantsir missile systems, the Rubezh and Redut coastal defense missile systems.
The “Immortal Regiment” event with about 30,000 participants also took place right after the parade in Vladivostok. This is a march in which participants carry portraits of relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic War to express gratitude, patriotism, and national pride of the Russian people.
At the same time, about 6,000 people took part in the parade in Khabarovsk. 130 cities and towns across the Far East celebrated this great holiday. Among them, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk was the first place in Russia to hold the “Immortal Regiment” event.
