However, when we called 0913xxx... the young man who answered the phone said that the product was currently out of stock and would not be available until early May.

A BL device is being sold for VND4,900,000 and advertised as being able to detect breast cancer.

This person did not forget to advertise the advantages of the product line: "BL is the most advanced and newest product on the market today, helping women check their breast condition regularly and reliably.

BL has a compact handheld design, giving quick and accurate results, and can be used by women of all ages. The product is commonly used in hospitals, clinics, spas, and many families around the world.

When asked about the product's safety features, the young man asserted: "The product uses infrared light to penetrate breast tissue, helping users see the blood vessels inside and easily detect any changes in the breasts over time."

This employee continued to advise, the current market price is 8 million VND, however, it is on sale so if you buy it, you will get a 38% discount, only 4,999,000 VND.

We continued to contact a store on Duy Tan Street (Cau Giay - Hanoi) to buy a product advertised as detecting breast cancer.

The staff at this store also advised that BL is the most advanced and modern device available today. This device is imported from England and customers who want to buy it must order a week in advance.

Although the advertised quality, features, and product name are identical to the type of device sold in Doi Can, the price here is completely different.

This employee said the original price is 6 million VND, but it is currently being discounted by 18% so customers only need to spend 4,900,000 VND to own this modern product.

In addition to introducing the product features, this employee did not forget to advise customers on how to use it. He said that before checking, a dark room must be prepared to observe clearly.

Then apply the gel to the area to be tested; turn on the machine and bring the infrared head close to the area to be tested, moving the entire breast area. "In just a moment you will have the results, no need to waste time going to the hospital", he asserted.

After the young man's flowery advertisements, the reporter suddenly asked whether the product's origin had been licensed by the Ministry of Health or not. This person hesitantly said: "The product meets international safety and quality standards."

If you have big breasts, don't use this machine!

In recent years, consumers have become too familiar with phrases like "dirty food", "cancer"... so the mentality of prevention is still a top priority for women.

Grasping this psychology, many facilities have promoted the sale of cancer-related products such as cancer test strips and cancer detection machines. However, the effectiveness of these products is still unknown.

Doctors recommend that in order to detect cancer, people should have regular check-ups at specialized facilities, instead of using equipment of unknown origin.

Bringing customers' confusion about this "modern" device, we talked with experts in the field of medical equipment to find answers.

Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, director of a medical equipment trading company in Hanoi, said that we need to be careful with the flattering advertisements about current medical equipment.

Mr. Toan said that saying that the machine detects breast cancer is not accurate. In fact, this is a type of machine that diagnoses the mammary gland using infrared rays.

"It works based on a probe, which probes around the breast to detect abnormalities. However, it cannot be used in all cases because its field of view is very small.

"People with large, thick breasts will not be able to detect pulses when examined. This machine can only detect abnormalities in people with small, thin breasts," Mr. Toan analyzed.

According to Mr. Toan, this type of machine appeared in Vietnam about 10 years ago and most of them originated from China. After a period of ineffective business, this type of machine was "transformed" into a breast cancer detection machine.

In fact, this is just a machine that uses infrared light to detect abnormalities in the mammary glands. After detecting abnormalities, the user will go to the hospital to take a biopsy to test the results.

"Never consider it a cancer detection treasure as advertised. It is just a device that uses infrared rays to detect abnormalities. From abnormalities to cancer, it will have to go through a testing and examination process at the hospital," said Mr. Toan.
