Cua Lo Town stops many services from August 17 to prevent and fight the epidemic.

August 16,People's Committee of Cua Lo Townissued an Official Dispatch on continuing to strengthen the implementation of urgent measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic.

Accordingly, in the face of the extremely complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, especially F0 cases from some localities in the province trading and selling goods at some markets in the town, to ensure the prevention, detection and timely handling of cases with high risk of infection in the community, the Town People's Committee requests the departments, branches, sectors, units of the town, and the People's Committees of wards to immediately implement urgent measures to prevent and control the COVID-19 epidemic, including:

1. Focus on doing a good job:Medical declaration, rapid tracing, zoning and ensuring compliance with epidemic prevention and control regulations.

2. Temporarily suspend some non-essential business servicesincluding: Hair cutting and shampooing services, beauty salons, restaurants, food service businesses, coffee shops (allowed to sell to customers to take home); entertainment activities, organizing sports tournaments in the area. Continue to ban the following services: karaoke, massage, gym, yoga, internet cafes, billiards...

Time to implement the above measures starts:From 0:00 on August 17, 2021until further notice to resume operations.

3. For local markets,Especially Hom market and Hai San market, urgently deploy epidemic prevention and sanitation measures in the entire market area, especially at the business location of the case positive for SARS-CoV-2.

Continue to propagate the Urgent Notice of the Department of Health; Direct the Market Management Board to regularly propagate and inspect; Require 100% of people entering and participating in activities in the market area to follow the 5K recommendations of the Ministry of Health. Strictly handle cases of violation of regulations on COVID-19 prevention and control.

4. Companies, factories, plants, Cua Lo port,bus stations, traditional markets, gathering points, loading and unloading of goods... direct the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control working groups of the unit to strictly implement epidemic prevention measures, mandatory health declaration at the facility. Assign the People's Committees of wards to coordinate in implementing COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures.

Cua Lo town assigned the town police and wards to strengthencheck and handleViolations in COVID-19 prevention and control work. Report implementation results to the COVID-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee of the town (through the Health Department) before 3:30 p.m. every day.
