Palestine-Israel conference may be held in Moscow
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas did not rule out the possibility of holding a conference on Palestine in Moscow or Paris.

"We do not want the United States to monopolize the mediation position, but we do not exclude the United States either. We want the mediation to be multilateral, corresponding to the organization of an international conference. The conference can be held in Moscow or Paris, any conference," Mr. Abbas said at a press conference in the Great Mosque of Moscow.
According to him, after such a conference, an international mechanism will be created "from the international quartet plus European, Arab or Muslim countries".
"We will not object," he added.
