Tragic traffic accident in Zimbabwe kills dozens
New Zimbabwean President Mnangagwa declared the traffic accident a national disaster.
Zimbabwean media reported on December 4 that a total of 21 people were killed and 48 others were injured in a road traffic accident in Tsholotsho province, northwest of the capital Harare, Zimbabwe, which occurred on December 2.

Local police said the accident occurred when a vehicle carrying 69 people, all staff of the Zimbabwe Ministry of Health's Malaria Control Program, was on duty when the vehicle lost control and overturned.
After the accident, Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa declared it a national disaster, and asked investigative agencies to quickly clarify the cause and overcome the consequences of the accident./.
