Tragic accident in China, 36 people died at once
The accident happened near midnight on August 10 when the passenger bus crashed into a retaining wall in a highway tunnel in Shaanxi province.

At least 36 people were killed and 13 injured in a serious accident on the evening of August 10 on a highway in Shaanxi province, northwest China.
According to Shaanxi police, the accident occurred at around 11:30 p.m. when the passenger car crashed into the retaining wall of the Xi'an-Hanzhong Expressway tunnel.
According to sina.com, among the victims were 8 women and 2 children.
The vehicle was en route from Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province in southwestern China, to Luoyang, Henan province in central China.
The injured have been taken to hospital and rescue workers are currently working to fix the problem on the tunnel section.
The cause of the accident is also being urgently investigated.
