Bus accident in Pakistan kills 24 passengers.

The bus accident occurred on the night of September 23rd in an area approximately 50km north of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Kashmir.

Pakistani police said today (September 24) that at least 24 passengers were killed when a bus lost control and plunged into the Neelum River, which flows through Pakistani-controlled Kashmir.

According to local authorities, the incident occurred on the night of September 23rd, and the bus fell into the river approximately 50km north of Muzaffarabad, the capital of Kashmir.

Only one person remains alive after the accident. Rescue teams have only recovered four bodies out of the 24 missing passengers who are presumed dead.

Recently, traffic accidents resulting in fatalities have become increasingly common in Pakistan. The main causes are believed to be the deteriorating road infrastructure and the reckless driving habits of road users.
