MU won 2-0 against Leeds
On the evening of July 12, MU entered a friendly match with Leeds at Ullevaal Stadion (Oslo) in the context of having just parted ways with goalkeeper De Gea. Coach Erik ten Hag decided to give the opportunity to the new contract, Mason Mount, to start. In addition, the Dutch coach also let young players such as Omari Forson, Kobbie Mainoo, Amad Diallo, Hannibal Mejbri and Alvaro Fernandez play from the start.

Meanwhile, the goalkeeper of MU is Tom Heaton. Players who often play in MU's first team are Sancho, Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Martinez in the starting lineup.
MU controlled 59% of the ball in the first half and had many situations threatening Leeds' goal. New signing Mason Mount impressed when he stole the ball from the opposing defender and then made a lob when he discovered goalkeeper Klaesson was far away from the goal. However, his shot from 36m away lacked accuracy.
In the following minutes, MU pressed the opponent and had many opportunities but their players could not take advantage. This is understandable because coach Ten Hag used many young players in this match. In the second half, coach Ten Hag changed the entire lineup, most of them were young players.
It wasn't until the 67th minute that Noam Emeran helped MU open the scoring. After a pass from Isak Hansen-Aaroen, 20-year-old French striker Noam Emeran broke through and scored against Leeds.

Emeran then continued to leave his mark with a pass to Joe Hugill to finish in the penalty area, increasing the score to 2-0 in the 81st minute.
After 90 minutes, MU won 2-0. After this match, the "Red Devils" will play a friendly match with Lyon at 8:00 p.m. on July 19 at Murrayfield Stadium (Edinburgh).
