'Jurassic World' actor announces separation from wife

After 8 years of happiness, actor Chris Pratt and his wife Anna Faris announced that they were separating, leaving fans surprised.

Chris Pratt – star of Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World announced on social media about his marital status with his wife, actress Anna Faris. Before that, they were known as a happy couple in Hollywood. They have a son together, Jack Pratt, who turns 5 this year.

“Anna and I are sad to announce that we are legally separating. We have been working on it for a while and things are just not the same,” the actor wrote. Chris added that he and Anna remain close because they share a son.

“We still have love, support and deep respect for each other,” he wrote. Anna Faris also posted a similar message on her personal page.

Fans were surprised by the announcement. Chris and Anna started dating after meeting on the set of Take Me Home Tonight in 2007.

They got engaged in late 2008 and married in Bali in July 2009. For Anna, this was her second wedding. Previously, the 40-year-old actress was married to actor Ben Andra.
