(Baonghean.vn) -According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai (70 years old, residing in Yen Thanh Town), at around 3 a.m. on August 19th, she heard a loud noise and went to investigate, only to find a truck had crashed into and broken four roadside trees and one power pole.

The truck, bearing license plate 37C-02079, was owned by a resident of Hong Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district. It was traveling from Ky Son district when the driver fell asleep at the wheel, causing the accident. Fortunately, all three occupants were unharmed. The area has five adjacent houses, along with stalls selling sugarcane juice, furniture, and plant seedlings, making it a popular spot for crowds. If the truck had veered onto the sidewalk during the day, the consequences would have been catastrophic.
