Receiving information from the people about a young man driving a taxi with license plate 37A - 131.40 showing signs of illegal drug trafficking, the Mobile Police Department quickly deployed forces. At about 23:45 on May 30, 2016, in the area of ​​Vo Nguyen Hieu Street, Vinh City, Nghe An, the Mobile Police Company coordinated with the Team for Management and Use of Professional Animals to inspect the above taxi.

Through inspection of the person and taxi, the police discovered 13 white plastic bags containing white crystalline substances suspected to be methamphetamine, so the subject and the evidence were taken to the police station for processing.

Here, the subject declared his name as Cao Xuan Tho (born in 1968, residing in Block 10, Doi Cung Ward, Vinh City). At the same time, the police seized 1 electronic scale, 1 pepper spray bottle and 19.4 million VND in cash. The total weight of the seized drugs was 256.27g, including 152.02g of crystal meth and 131.25g of Ketamine.

Currently, the Mobile Police Department has handed over the subject and evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Provincial Police for further investigation.
