(Baonghean) - Recently, drivers of Van Xuan Taxi have repeatedly collaborated to return various items, jewelry, and cash to passengers. These are meaningful actions that contribute to the current taxi culture.

On the morning of June 16th, driver Nguyen Minh Tuan of Van Xuan Taxi company transported a passenger from house number 22, Vinh Yen Street, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City to Hung Loc Commune. After the passenger got out of the car and traveled nearly 1 km, driver Tuan discovered a gold bracelet on the passenger seat. Suspecting it was the jewelry the passenger had left behind, he immediately contacted the Van Xuan Taxi dispatch center to report the incident and find the owner to return it. After confirming that it was indeed the passenger's forgotten item, he quickly returned to the pick-up location to find the family and return it. Upon receiving his child's forgotten item, Mr. Hung happily said: "The gold bracelet is worth over 10 million VND, my child only bought it a short time ago. I really didn't expect Mr. Tuan to be so thoughtful. Thank you very much to him and Van Xuan Taxi company."

"Hopefully, other taxi drivers will also perform such humane acts as Mr. Tuan."

Earlier, at around 5:30 AM on June 14th, driver Nguyen Minh Tuan also returned a Canon camera worth approximately 12 million VND to a passenger. Ms. Dinh Thi Soa, in charge of the Van Xuan taxi dispatch center, said: "After receiving the notification from Mr. Tuan, I tracked down the phone number of the passenger who used our taxi service around that time and contacted them. Mr. Tuan then met with the passenger in person to return the camera."

Not long ago, at around 8:00 AM on June 9th, driver Nguyen Quy Tung, operating a Van Xuan taxi with license plate 37A 11211 (number 388), also returned 30 million VND in cash to a passenger who had left it behind. At that time, Mr. Nguyen Chi Duc, an employee of the Quynh Luu District Sports Center, was traveling with a group of young people from the district to participate in the 18th Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament. During the journey from their accommodation to the competition venue, Mr. Duc used a Van Xuan taxi and accidentally left behind a bag containing 30 million VND in cash, which was the tournament's participation fee.

This is just one of many instances where taxi drivers have returned lost items to passengers, and it would be a hallmark of Nghe An's taxi culture if this practice continues to flourish.
