On the evening of April 19, a parent posted a clip online of a kindergarten teacher carrying a child into the classroom and beating him during class. After the clip was posted online, many people were outraged.
On the morning of April 20, Mr. Le Truong Son, Deputy Head of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh City, said that when the clip appeared, the department investigated and determined that this clip was recorded at ABC Kindergarten - an independent group of children at 99 Le Loi - Vinh City.
Immediately after the incident, the Department of Education and Training requested the Vinh City Department of Education and Training to direct the facility to temporarily suspend the teacher who beat the child.
