Nearly 700kg of animal products seized on passenger bus
(Baonghean.vn) - In the early morning of September 6, while on duty, the Nghe An Mobile Market Management Team discovered and seized nearly 700kg of slaughtered animal products on a passenger bus.
Accordingly, the passenger bus with license plate 76B - 00319, driven by driver Ngo Quoc Thuong in Quang Ngai City (Quang Ngai Province), was traveling from Hanoi to Da Nang through Vinh City when it was stopped for inspection by the Mobile Market Management Team of Nghe An Market Management Department.
Upon inspection, the Mobile Market Management Team coordinated with the Vinh City Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Station to open the seals on the vehicle, discovering that the containers contained parts of slaughtered animals.

Although the driver presented all relevant documents, the vehicle was not registered in the Quarantine Certificate issued by Phu Xuyen Veterinary Quarantine Station, so the interdisciplinary team detained it. The bus driver, Mr. Ngo Quoc Thuong, confessed that in order to reduce the transportation fee, the owner of the goods, Nguyen Van Dung, hired a bus to transport the goods from Phu Xuyen district (Hanoi) to Da Nang for sale.
