This morning, Phu My District Police decided to temporarily detain Le Quang Vu to investigate a fight that left two people injured.

Previously, on the evening of January 20, Ms. Le Thi Kim Qua and her husband Phan Van Long (Tan Phu village, My Duc commune, Phu My district) held a year-end party, in which Phan Van Tai, Phan Anh Hai, and Phan Tu A, Mr. Long's brothers, attended. While drinking, Hai went to the front of the house, opposite Vu's house, to urinate, so there was an argument between the two.

While drinking, Phan Anh Hai went to the front of the house, opposite Vu's house, to pee, so the two of them exchanged words.

Seeing that, Long's brothers ran out to stop him and it led to a fight with Vu. Unable to gain the upper hand, Vu ran into the house and took out a knife, causing Tai to be injured in the head.

Hearing Tai scream, Ms. Le Thi Kim Qua ran out and was slashed by Vu, severing her left hand. The family took the two injured to the Quy Hoa Central Dermatology Hospital for emergency treatment.

At 8:40 pm on January 20, the patient was transferred to Quy Hoa Central Dermatology and Leprosy Hospital in a state of shock, drowsiness, severe blood loss, and paleness...

Mrs. Qua's arm was reattached after being severed.

According to Dr. Nguyen Ke Lac (the patient's surgeon), the surgery to reattach the arm lasted nearly 7 hours and was not completed until the early morning of January 21.

Doctors reconnected the two forearm bones (also known as the tibia), reconnected all the blood vessels (2 arteries, 4 veins), and reconnected all the nerves, tendons, and muscles. On the morning of January 21, patient Q.'s reattached hand was warm and pink, and he could move his fingers.
