Detain driver transporting F0 related to case of man having arm severed
While transporting F0 to quarantine and treatment, Huynh and Hung had a conflict with Mr. Kiem. Huynh immediately took a machete and chopped off Mr. Kiem's arm.
Thu Dau Mot City Police, Binh Duong Province, has detained Dang Quoc Hung (44 years old, residing in Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City), and at the same time issued a notice to search for Tran Hoang Huynh (27 years old, from Ca Mau Province) to investigate and clarify his actions.intentional injury
According to initial investigation results, at around 9:00 a.m. on August 29, Tran Hoang Huynh and Dang Quoc Hung drove two 50-seat cars carrying F0 from Thuan Giao Primary School, Thuan An City to quarantine and treatment at Binh Duong Medical College (Ward 9, Phu Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City).
While waiting for the patient to get off the bus and enter the quarantine area, Mr. Vu Duc Kiem (49 years old, temporarily residing in Ward 8, Phu Hoa Ward) and Hung had an argument. Afterwards, Mr. Kiem threw a rock at Hung's car, causing the two to argue and fight.

Seeing this, Huynh, who was in the car, jumped out and used a machete to slash Mr. Kiem's right hand. After committing the crime, Hung drove the car carrying Huynh away from the scene. Mr. Kiem was taken to Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City for emergency treatment by local people. Later, Hung returned to the scene to get his car and was arrested by the police.
During the initial verification process, the victim Vu Duc Kiem had no stable job, lived alone in a rented house near the scene of the incident, showed signs of mental illness, frequently walked in front of the quarantine area of Binh Duong Medical College and had no previous conflicts with Huynh.
Thu Dau Mot City Police also informed the public that if there is information about Tran Hoang Huynh, please report it to Thu Dau Mot City Police for coordination./.
