Container driver detained for throwing traffic police officer onto the road
Lieutenant Nguyen Anh Duc(Ha Tinh Traffic Police Department) is in critical condition and has been transferred to Hanoi for treatment. The container driver has been detained for investigation.
Major Le Ngoc Sang - Captain of the Northern Patrol Team, Ha Tinh Traffic Police Department, has just said: "The health condition of Lieutenant Duc is poor. After emergency treatment at Hong Linh General Hospital, he was transferred to Nghe An General Hospital for treatment, but due to cerebral hemorrhage and multiple injuries, he had to be transferred to Viet Duc Hospital, Hanoi for treatment."

The general investigation team, Can Loc District Police are temporarily detaining container driver Luu Van Chau (born in 1991, residing in Phu My town, Phu My district, Binh Dinh) to serve the investigation.
Previously, at around 4:00 p.m. on June 30, the patrol team of the Ha Tinh Traffic Police Department discovered a container truck with license plate 77C - 016.47 pulling a trailer with license plate 77R - 001.37, driven by driver Luu Van Chau on National Highway 1A, in the South - North direction through Vuong Loc commune, Can Loc district, when the Traffic Police signaled to stop for inspection for speeding.

However, when getting out of the car, driver Chau argued with the traffic police, did not show his documents and drove away.
The car crashed into the police force to escape. At that time, Lieutenant Nguyen Anh Duc and Lieutenant Le Ho Viet Anh were standing in front of the car.
Lieutenant Viet Anh was thrown out and slightly injured, while Lieutenant Duc clung to the front mirror of the container truck.
When the car had gone about 200m, the container driver turned the wheel to the left, causing Lieutenant Duc to fall onto the road, hitting his head on the median strip, causing serious and critical injuries.
