Talk toVietNamNet, Mr. Nguyen Van Ket said: “On the afternoon of February 6, the class had a test on Accounting Practice. This female student had just given birth to a baby 6 months ago, and there was no one to look after her that day, so she had to bring her baby to class. The students and I are very close, so I understand their lives and circumstances. Seeing her explain her situation and the test was still required, I agreed to hold her baby so she could finish the test.

Many people asked me if I was shy at that time, if I was afraid of being criticized by others, but I thought it was a normal thing to do" - Mr. Ket said.

Mr. Ket said that during the 2 hours of taking the exam, there were a few times when the baby cried and he had to comfort him. "When the baby cried too much, I gave the baby's mother to take outside to comfort and feed him milk, then went back to continue doing the exam."

Mr. Ket also said that since this final year female student of the Accounting Faculty got married and became pregnant, he has always encouraged her to try to complete the course on time.

Born in 1985, Mr. Ket currently has a wife and 2 children, the older child is in 1st grade and the younger child is 2 years old.

In response to some rude comments on social media, Mr. Ket shared: “Many people asked me if I was afraid my wife would be jealous. Actually, my wife knew about this that afternoon, but there was no problem. My wife was very sympathetic and shared, supporting my actions when it was all for the students. My wife also understood that the female student had no choice but to bring her child to class.”

Mr. Ket said that his wife works in the school's admissions department, so she understands the specifics of her job better and is very supportive of her husband in his work.

He himself often uses social networks to exchange and communicate more and more conveniently with students. Through that, he shares documents, information about class schedules, exam schedules with students conveniently and quickly.
