The new Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union is from Nghe An province.

On the morning of September 9th, the 10th Central Committee Meeting of the Vietnam Youth Union opened in Hanoi. The main agenda was to discuss the "Detailed Outline of the Report of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union at the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Youth Union".

In particular, at this conference, the Executive Committee will finalize the Secretariat by electing two additional secretaries of the Central Committee of the 10th term of the Youth Union (2012-2017).

The two newly elected secretaries are:

1. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Luong

Date of birth: November 26, 1978

Place of origin: Thieu Van commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

Qualifications: Master of Economic Law, Bachelor of Foreign Languages, currently pursuing doctoral studies in Law.

Theoretical level: Advanced

Position and organization: Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union.

2. Mr. Bui Quang Huy

Date of birth: March 25, 1977

Place of origin: Nghi Hung commune, Nghi Loc district, Nghe An province

Qualifications: Master of Laws.

Theoretical level: Advanced

Position and organization: Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Committee's Organization Department of the Youth Union.
