At least 10 people were injured in two consecutive knife attacks in the Finnish city of Turku and the German city of Wuppertal.

The terrorist attack in Germany took place on August 18 local time, just 2 hours after another knife attack occurred in the Finnish city of Turku.

According to RT news agency, at least 2 people died and 6 were injured in a horrific knife attack that occurred in the Puutori-Market Square area of ​​Turku city, Finland on August 18. Police at the scene quickly shot and subdued the suspect.

Security officials have advised residents and tourists to stay away from the city centre following the attack. Police are also questioning the suspect to determine the motive for the attack.

Just two hours after the horrific stabbing in Finland, a similar knife attack took place in Germany, leaving one person dead and another injured. The dead victim was reported to be a 31-year-old man, while the injured person was 25.

German police said a manhunt had been launched, with special forces (SEK) at the scene.
