New 9X graduate is 'specially' recruited into Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Education and Training has just issued a decision to recruit civil servants according to the policy of attracting a new student majoring in Physics Pedagogy to work at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. This is also a rare male student who won a National prize but chose to be a teacher.
The newly recruited graduate is Le Xuan Bao (born in 1996) - a former Physics major student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, class 40.
While studying at school, Bao won second prize in Physics twice in the National Excellent Student Competition in grades 11 and 12 and twice participated in the National Team Selection Exam to participate in Olympic Competitions.
The new graduate also won first prize in Physics at the Provincial Excellent Student Competition in grade 12. Before that, Le Xuan Bao was a student at Dang Chanh Ky Secondary School - Nam Dan.

With excellent achievements, Le Xuan Bao was directly admitted to the Physics Department - University of Natural Sciences. After that, he continued to receive a scholarship and studied for 3 years at Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University - Russian Federation, majoring in Nuclear Power. Regarding his major, Bao said: I studied in Russia for 3 years in a fairly new major in Vietnam. However, due to health reasons, I was unable to participate in the internship program.
After 3 years of studying in Russia, Bao returned to Vietnam and had many options for himself. However, in the end, Bao decided to study Physics Pedagogy at Vinh University because since the day he started studying, Bao loved Pedagogy. Bao also said: Although Pedagogy is not a "hot" major, since he started studying, he wanted to become a teacher in the future and especially to be a teacher participating in the work of training excellent students.

Returning to Vietnam in 2017, after 3 years of studying at Vinh University, Bao graduated with honors. After graduating, Bao received a recruitment notice from the Department of Education and Training and applied. With outstanding results, after passing the interview round, Bao was recruited by the Department Director to teach Physics at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
Receiving this decision, Le Xuan Bao said: I am very happy to be recruited as a teacher at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted - the school I attended for 3 years of high school and had teachers that I respect very much.
Regarding his work at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, young teacher Le Xuan Bao also said that there was a lot of pressure because Physics has been one of the school's strengths for many years. The person who guided and gave Bao a lot of advice was teacher Tran Van Nga - Vice Principal of the school and also a teacher who taught Bao for many years. He also advised Bao when choosing Pedagogy that "he must devote all his efforts to the school and to the students".

Previously, it was known that for 3 consecutive years, the Department of Education and Training had posted 4 announcements to recruit Physics teachers for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted with the standard of achieving 3rd prize in the provincial Physics competition or higher. However, after a long time, the recruitment was unsuccessful and there were no qualified candidates to apply. In 2020, Bao was the only candidate for this position.
The fact that a National Excellent Student decided to study Pedagogy is also good news for the provincial Education sector. In particular, the Department of Education and Training has recruited 8 Pedagogy graduates who were National Excellent Students in the past 3 years to work at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. Bao is a rare Physics student who pursues Pedagogy.
