(Baonghean.vn) - As a fan of the talented martial arts master and head of the Nhat Nam school, and having seen his paintings, photographs, and poetry collections, I am even more impressed to learn that the European Academy of Natural Sciences has awarded Professor and Doctor Ngo Xuan Binh the title of "Academy Member" for his contributions to medical examination and treatment and his valuable practical scientific research in the very cradle of academia - Russia!

Revivetraditional martial arts

Born into a martial arts family in Thanh Vinh, Ngo Xuan Binh showed early talent and passion, diligently seeking out and learning from martial arts masters throughout Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces. This young man from Nghe An brought his passion to the Hanoi University of Fine Arts. While studying academics, Ngo Xuan Binh tirelessly taught martial arts to his classmates, creating a martial arts training movement within the university.

In 1983, at the age of 24, Ngo Xuan Binh accomplished the extraordinary feat of unifying the various martial arts schools and styles of Nghe An and Thanh Hoa provinces into the "Nhat" martial arts school.Male"(With the desire to unify and homogenize the various martial arts styles into a single, pure Vietnamese martial art, without any mixing or hybridization). From here, the traditional Nhat Nam martial art, founded by Grandmaster Ngo Xuan Binh, officially debuted."

In conversation, Ngo Xuan Binh argued that martial arts is not violence, but a path to perfection, harmony between the self and the community, and a way of self-cultivation. Traditional martial arts are a cultural heritage left by our ancestors; practicing martial arts not only makes people healthy and strong-willed, but also demonstrates the national spirit and patriotism of the Vietnamese people.

Stemming from the Grand Master's perspective, in the nearly 10 years since its founding (from 1983 to 1990), Nhat Nam martial arts developed rapidly, attracting a large number of young people to participate in training. Many generations of outstanding students have continued his mission, developing the martial art in remote areas. In 1990, he handed over the responsibility of maintaining the martial art domestically to his students, while he went abroad to build and promote this cultural heritage. With the enthusiasm and dedication of martial arts master Ngo Xuan Binh, combined with the essence of Nhat Nam martial arts, this martial art, hidden behind the bamboo hedges of villages, soon conquered Europe. To date, Nhat Nam martial arts has over 40,000 students with numerous Nhat Nam martial arts federations present in countries such as Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, and others.

Become a professor,
Academician in Russia

After nearly 20 years of developing the Nhat Nam martial art abroad, Ngo Xuan Binh is now the President of the Nhat Nam Martial Arts Federation in Russia, Belarus, Lithuania, Ukraine, etc. He has also been the President of the National Traditional Martial Arts Federation in Russia since 2005. Beyond martial arts, Ngo Xuan Binh also studies medicine because, according to him, learning martial arts is primarily to improve one's own health, and even more importantly, to use martial arts to treat illnesses for others.

With his knowledge of martial arts acupuncture points, he delved into researching and exploring ways to treat diseases and maintain health through acupuncture and acupressure. He eventually discovered acupuncture points and developed a theory of acupuncture therapy. According to this theory, depending on the type of disease, there will be specific shifts in the acupuncture points, from which treatment and acupuncture methods tailored to each ailment will be developed. After evaluation, this method was approved by the Russian Association of Traditional Medicine (RANM) for use by acupuncturists to treat people.

According to Ngo Xuan Binh, for nearly 20 years he has been invited by the Russian President's Office to work as a healthcare expert for high-ranking Russian state leaders. He is currently a member of the Federal Committee for Monitoring and Managing Public Health Development.

In June 2011, at the International Forum "Interdisciplinary Medicine 2011" organized by RANM, before a scientific council from the European Academy of Natural Sciences, Ngo Xuan Binh published for the first time his monumental 1,500-page scientific work entitled: "Hypertension - Related Conditions - Acupuncture Specialty". According to RANM's assessment, this work is the result of many years of scientific research and practice in treating hypertension. At this event, the European Academy of Natural Sciences awarded Professor and Doctor Ngo Xuan Binh the title of Academician for his achievements in the field of medicine.

Ngo Xuan Binh believes that achieving those successes was a long process of self-learning, through contact with European scientists to enrich his knowledge of new pathologies. The deeper he delved into his research, the more he saw the effectiveness of combining Eastern healing methods with modern medicine, which gave him confidence and a strong impetus to develop research topics on treatment that were recognized by the European scientific community.
