Mr. Phan Van Giap - Chairman of Tan Ky District People's Committee said: The epidemic situation has been controlled in the district in the past time, so next week, the Covid-19 Prevention and Control Steering Committee of the district will re-attack the entire area. If the situation continues to be well controlled, the epidemic level will be lowered in some hamlets of Nghia Dong commune (Nghia Dong commune is currently under medical quarantine), so that people can return to normal economic development activities. Previously, the district had lowered the epidemic level in 19 communes and towns to level 1; 2 communes: Nghia Hoan and Nghia Thai to level 2.

"With the timely, urgent and drastic participation in epidemic prevention work of the Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and ControlCovid-19 epidemicof the district, after nearly half a month, it can be affirmed that the outbreaks in the district have been basically controlled, there are days when no new positive cases appear, people are no longer worried as before," Mr. Phan Van Giap shared.

The Covid-19 epidemic broke out strongly in the community in Tan Ky district from November 22, the total number of infected cases up to December 4 was 269 cases (including positive cases from other places).
