Tan Ky strives for 100% of localities to meet national healthcare standards

(Baonghean.vn)-Tan Ky District Party Committee has just issued a project to implement the national criteria set on commune health, period 2016-2020.

With the common goal, Tan Ky gradually completes the grassroots health network, improves the quality of disease prevention and control, develops and improves the quality of health services, shortens the gap between regions, and meets the needs of medical examination and treatment for the people. By 2020, it strives to have 100% of communes and towns meet the National criteria for health.

To achieve the common goal, Tan Ky needs to aim at arranging human resources reasonably and harmoniously among localities. By 2020, 100% of communes will have doctors working; facilities will be guaranteed, fully equipped with medicine and means, meeting the needs of medical examination and treatment at health stations; health programs will be deployed to the community; 100% of health stations will meet the criteria for medical examination and treatment using traditional medicine; over 90% of mothers will have 3 prenatal checkups and receive enough neonatal tetanus shots and postnatal care.

Organize and diversify types of health education centers, raise awareness among people in taking care of their own health, their families' and society's health; Monitor and handle epidemics and food poisoning in the area; if any, handle them promptly to prevent the spread of the epidemic; manage non-communicable diseases well, minimizing the impact on public health; monitor the birth rate of the third child or more on the population scale in accordance with the socio-economic development in the area.
