Tan Ky: Total production value in 5 months is estimated at over 2,639 billion VND

(Baonghean.vn) - In the first 5 months of 2017, the socio-economic situation in Tan Ky area has developed, with total production value estimated at more than 2,639 billion VND, up 7.7% over the same period.

The Standing Committee of the People's Council of Tan Ky district has just held a meeting with the Standing Committees of the People's Councils of communes and towns. Comrade Bui Thanh Bao - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council chaired the meeting.

The implementation of the socio-economic development plan in the first 5 months of 2017 in the district continued to develop, with total production value estimated at more than 2,639 billion VND, up 7.7% over the same period and equal to 54.9% of the plan.

The district coordinates with provincial departments and branches to implement the conclusion announcement of the Provincial People's Committee: Appoint members to participate in the Steering Committee for exploitation, development and management of geographical indications of Vinh oranges in accordance with the direction of the Department of Science & Technology in Official Dispatch No. 631/KHCN dated May 8, 2017.

The district also directed the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to advise on supplementing the orange tree planning, creating conditions for orange tree development, considering it one of the key products to develop the socio-economy and increase income for Tan Ky.

The district directed the Economic - Infrastructure Department to preside over and coordinate with relevant departments and branches to advise on the development of Plan No. 61/KH-UBND dated March 24, 2017 of the District People's Committee on clearing violations and preventing re-encroachment of road traffic corridors in the period of 2017-2020.

Currently, the communes of Ky Tan, Ky Son, Town, Dong Van, Nghia Phuc, Nghia Dong, Nghia Binh, and Giai Xuan have launched the clearance./.
