Donating 1,000 'Warm winter coats' to disadvantaged students in the highlands of Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 9, in the program "Warm winter clothes", Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company cooperated with Nghe An Newspaper to give 300 gifts to students of Xa Luong Primary School, Tuong Duong district.
This is an activity in a series of events to give 1,000 "Warm Winter Coats" to disadvantaged students in mountainous areas in the two districts of Ky Son and Tuong Duong.
300 gifts including warm clothes, woolen hats, candy and milk were given to students of Xa Luong Primary School by the volunteer group. Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company also donated a 43-inch TV to Xa Luong Primary School.

This activity was carried out by the Board of Directors of Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company and Nghe An Newspaper in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training, schools, Border Guard Stations and local authorities to share and connect love to disadvantaged children in mountainous areas. This is also one of the charity activities organized annually by Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company.
There are still many children in mountainous and remote districts of Nghe An province who are facing many difficulties in life and study. Among them, many children lack clothes, especially warm clothes and equipment to prevent cold in winter.

Through this field trip, Mr. Dang Dinh Dong - Deputy Director of Song Lam 2 Cement Factory (Anh Son) under Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company shared: “We had a very meaningful journey, which is to send the feelings of the Company's staff and workers to share the difficulties of children in the highlands. This time, Song Lam Cement Joint Stock Company donated 1,000 warm coats, 1,000 woolen hats and gifts, worth more than 200 million VND to students of some schools in Ky Son and Tuong Duong. In addition to actively working and producing effectively, the Company has carried out meaningful charity activities, sharing with many difficult circumstances. At the gift-giving points, we saw teachers, students and parents at the destinations very happy to receive warm coats, woolen hats, milk and candy.
