Giving warm clothes and organizing 'Nutrition meals' at the Center for Orphans and Disabled Children
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the beginning of the New Year 2024, on January 2, the Provincial Military Command visited, gave warm clothes and organized a "nutritious meal" for children at the Mother Teresa Calaita Orphan and Disabled Children Care Center at Tan Huong Parish, Bo Son Parish, Nghi Van Commune, Nghi Loc District.

Mother Teresa Calaita Orphan and Disabled Children Center is currently raising and caring for more than 56 orphaned and disabled children, children of Catholic and non-Catholic compatriots of different ages and circumstances.
The program visited, gave warm clothes, worked with nuns to take care of the children and organized "Nutrition meals" at the center.

From April 2017 to now, the Women's Union of the Provincial Military Command has organized cooking of nearly 200 meals for children at the center, with a total amount of more than 150 million VND.
In addition, on holidays, Tet and the beginning of the new school year, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command also organizes giving books, warm clothes, school uniforms, and toys to the children, contributing to sharing the difficulties and hardships with the center, to encourage and compensate for the children's misfortunes and losses in life.
