((Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An voters recommend: The National Assembly strengthens supervision of the activities of the Police, Procuracy, and Court to avoid injustice and mistakes in criminal proceedings.
On this issue, the National Assembly's Judiciary Committee responded as follows:
In recent times, the Judiciary Committee has strengthened supervision and proposed that the National Assembly supervise the activities of judicial agencies through reviewing reports, questioning the Government, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy and issuing many resolutions on judicial work (Resolution No. 37, Resolution No. 63, Resolution No. 111).

In 2015, the National Assembly decided to supervise the topic of "Injustice and mistakes in the application of criminal law, criminal proceedings and compensation for victims of injustice in criminal proceedings according to the provisions of law".
At the 9th session (May 2015), the National Assembly reviewed the Report of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the results of supervision and issued Resolution No. 96/2015/QH13 on strengthening measures to prevent and combat injustice and ensure compensation for victims of injustice in criminal proceedings.

Accepting voters' recommendations, the Judiciary Committee will coordinate with relevant agencies to continue closely monitoring the implementation of Resolution No. 37, Resolution No. 63, Resolution No. 96 and Resolution No. 111 of the Public Security, Procuracy and Court agencies to contribute to limiting the situation of wrongful and incorrect investigation, prosecution and trial.
