Strengthen consulting and advisory activities for the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee

After more than 2 years of operation, the 3 Advisory Councils have actively participated in social criticism in many fields. The opinions and contributions of the members of the Board of Directors are of high quality, effective, profound, with theoretical and practical bases, contributing to the overall results of the Front's work.

Notably, the Council of Members of Democracy - Law has participated extensively in the election work, contributing comments to many documents related to the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term.

In addition, some members of the Board of Directors, some with in-depth expertise, have actively participated in drafting many other documents related to election work.

In particular, in the supervision work, although mainly through the form of document research, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front has helped the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front point out the shortcomings and limitations of the supervision field, and at the same time recommend the competent authorities of the Central and the province to direct the amendment and promulgation of policies to ensure feasibility, suitability with actual conditions, comprehensiveness, correctness, and harmony of interests of the people, organizations and the State.

Regarding social criticism work, in 2021, the Board of Directors advised and commented on 52 draft documents on draft laws, projects, resolutions, etc. to the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, including important draft documents.

Discussing at the Conference, many delegates said that the comments and social criticisms of the Board of Directors were considered and implemented at all levels, which was a great progress. However, some also said that consulting should also create motivation for development.

Because such criticism will help the agencies implementing the Projects and Resolutions have a broader and deeper view... so that those decisions will benefit the people and businesses.

However, besides the achieved results, there are still some limitations in the activities of the Board of Directors such as unevenness, passivity in consulting, low quality of participation in giving opinions and suggestions on draft documents, even some members have not participated in giving opinions...

Speaking at the conference, comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee affirmed that the achievements of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province in 2021 had the contributions and active support of the members of the Advisory Council.

With responsibility, knowledge and experience, the members have contributed more information and scientific basis to help the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee better perform the tasks of supervision, social criticism, and participation in giving opinions on party building and government building...

Many recommendations of the Board of Directors members have been included in the proposal document of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee to send to competent authorities for study, acceptance and implementation direction.

The conference also agreed that in 2022, the Advisory Council will strengthen its advisory and consulting activities for the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in various fields, especially in the field of law-making; Participate in monitoring activities and social criticism; Research and advise on the development of provincial-level scientific topics and projects to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Front's work.

On this occasion, the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 7 individuals with outstanding achievements in the activities of the Board of Directors in 2021.
