For enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks that do not have a centralized wastewater treatment system or facilities that are exempted from connection, they must collect and treat wastewater to the permitted limit according to regulations before discharging it into the environment.
Regarding solid waste, enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks organize their own collection and storage of solid waste and contract with units with functions of transportation and treatment.
There are still limitations
At the meeting, members of the Provincial People's Council's monitoring delegation affirmed that violations of laws on environmental protection, occupational safety and health, and policies for workers in enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks still exist.

In practice, in the past, there were still opinions from voters that enterprises in economic zones and industrial parks caused environmental pollution in terms of wastewater and emissions. And through inspections by competent authorities, many enterprises have not completed environmental protection works, so they have not been confirmed to have completed environmental protection works according to regulations, and have not installed automatic monitoring systems.
Some businesses have not conducted periodic monitoring and the monitoring results at some units show good results, but in reality they are polluting the environment...
Regarding policies for employees, it is evident that many businesses have not signed collective labor agreements and the salary regime for employees is still low.
