Strengthening management of inland waterway activities

(Baonghean.vn) – On November 12, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Official Dispatch No. 8252 assigning tasks to the Provincial Police, Department of Transport, People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to implement Decree No. 110/2014/CP on conditions for inland waterway transport business and circulars guiding this issue.

Accordingly, Nghe An Provincial Police and the police of districts, cities and towns will strengthen patrolling, controlling and imposing administrative penalties on violations of inland waterway transport business conditions under their authority. District People's Committees will organize inspections, reviews and classifications of activities on inland waterways, ferry terminals, means of exploitation and transport of goods, summarize the inspection results and report to the Provincial People's Committee before November 25, 2015.
