The Steering Committee's report at the meeting showed that, after the Steering Committee implemented the 2015 plan, the departments and agencies coordinated well in inspecting and controlling the market, detecting counterfeit goods, substandard goods, and goods of unknown origin, creating favorable conditions for Vietnamese goods to reach consumers. In the first six months of the year, the Department of Industry and Trade conducted 4,129 inspections, handled 3,076 cases, and collected fines exceeding 5 billion VND. The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development inspected 98 agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production facilities, and two inter-agency teams inspected 21 agricultural, forestry, and fisheries production facilities.

| Comrade Vuong Quang Minh - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee - presented the report on the "Vietnamese People Prioritize Using Vietnamese Goods" program for the first six months of the year. |
Effective coordination and facilitation have facilitated businesses in organizing programs and trade fairs to promote the image and brands of Vietnam to consumers in the province. In the first six months of the year, approvals were granted for 8 trade fairs and exhibitions, attracting 8-10,000 visitors per fair. 24 promotional programs were organized with prizes worth over 1.561 billion VND, and over 3,300 promotional program notifications were received with prizes worth over 25 billion VND. Through these trade fairs and promotional activities, the province has contributed to widely promoting Vietnamese goods to all citizens.
In particular, the program organized two events to bring Vietnamese goods to rural areas in Nghia Dan and Quy Chau districts, each attracting 12 businesses from within and outside the province. Through this program, people were able to access quality Vietnamese-made goods at reasonable prices.

| Comrade Lam Van Doan – Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Nghe An Newspaper – stated that in the past, Nghe An Newspaper has published many articles related to counterfeit and substandard goods, and the multi-level marketing practices affecting consumer rights, but the authorities have not taken strong action to handle violations, and mass organizations have not intervened promptly. |
However, the promotion and advertising of the image, quality, and products manufactured by Vietnamese businesses and businesses in the province have not been given sufficient attention. Consumers still have a preference for foreign goods, and the prices and quality of domestic goods do not yet meet people's demands. The fight against counterfeit goods, smuggled goods, and goods of unknown origin is still limited. Practical programs such as Vietnamese goods fairs and promotions for Vietnamese goods are still limited in content and quantity.
At the conference, the Steering Committee outlined several key tasks for the last six months of the year to ensure the campaign yields more tangible results; advised and directed districts and cities to establish district-level campaign steering committees and provided input on strengthening the provincial-level steering committee.
