Increase the standard level of preferential allowance for meritorious people
The Government has just issued Decree 77/2024/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 75/2021/ND-CP of the Government regulating the levels of allowances, subsidies and preferential regimes for people with revolutionary contributions, which have been amended and supplemented by a number of articles according to Decree No. 55/2023/ND-CP.
Decree No. 77/2024/ND-CP amends the standard level of subsidies and incentives for people with revolutionary contributions. Accordingly, the standard level of preferential subsidies for people with revolutionary contributions will increase from VND 2,055,000 to VND 2,789,000.
The Decree also amends and supplements Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 75/2021/ND-CP on health rehabilitation nursing.
Accordingly, for concentrated health rehabilitation nursing: The expenditure level is 1.8 times the standard level/01 person/01 time. The expenditure content includes:
a - Meal allowance during convalescence;
b- Essential drugs;
c- Gifts for the subject;
d- Sightseeing;
d- Other expenses directly serving the subject during the nursing period (maximum expense level is 10% of the concentrated health rehabilitation nursing expense level), including: towels, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, photography, health consultation, rehabilitation, books, newspapers, cultural activities, arts, sports and other expenses serving the nursing subject.
Heroic Vietnamese mothers receive monthly preferential allowance of 8,367,000 VND
Decree No. 77/2024/ND-CP also replaces Appendix I, Appendix II, Appendix III on monthly allowances and preferential allowances for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of people with revolutionary contributions (Appendix I); Monthly preferential allowances for war invalids and people enjoying policies like war invalids (Appendix II); Monthly preferential allowances for war invalids of type B (Appendix III).
Accordingly, the monthly preferential allowance for revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to the August 1945 uprising was 2,884,000 VND; relatives of 1 martyr were 2,789,000 VND, relatives of 2 martyrs were 5,578,000 VND, relatives of 3 or more martyrs were 8,367,000 VND.
Vietnamese heroic mothers receive a monthly preferential allowance of VND 8,367,000 and a monthly preferential allowance of VND 2,337,000.
The monthly preferential allowance for Heroes of the People's Armed Forces and Heroes of Labor during the resistance period is 2,337,000 VND; People who participated in the revolution, resistance, national defense, and international duty and were imprisoned or exiled by the enemy are 1,673,000 VND.
Decree No. 75/2021/ND-CP takes effect from July 1, 2024./.
