Increase the subsidy level for people with revolutionary contributions
The Government has just issued a decree replacing Decree No. 101/2013/ND-CP in the direction of increasing subsidy and allowance levels.
Accordingly, the standard level to determine the subsidy and preferential allowance levels for people with revolutionary contributions will increase from 1,220,000 VND to 1,318,000 VND. People's armed forces heroes and labor heroes during the resistance war will receive a subsidy of 1,105,000 VND/month.
Also according to the new decree, if a martyr has no one to receive a monthly pension, the person who worships the martyr will receive a worship allowance of 500,000 VND/year.
The Government also issued a decree stipulating additional salaries for cadres, civil servants, public employees and those receiving salaries in the armed forces with a salary coefficient of 2.34 or less, with an additional salary increase equal to 8% of the current salary.
Decree No. 14/2015/ND-CP recently issued stipulates 7 social policy subjects who are entitled to exemption and reduction of train fares. Including: revolutionary activists before January 1, 1945; revolutionary activists from January 1, 1945 to before the August 19, 1945 General Uprising; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; war invalids, people enjoying policies like war invalids; resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals; people with especially severe disabilities, people with severe disabilities; children under 6 years old.
