Giving gifts to underprivileged new students in Nghia Dan.
(Baonghean.vn) - On July 29th, philanthropists, in coordination with the Youth Union of Nghia Son and Nghia Hoi communes (Nghia Dan district), presented gifts to two disadvantaged students who achieved high scores in the 2018 National High School Graduation Examination.

This is Ngo Van Giang, a student from 1-5 High School, residing in Dong Hoi 2 hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune. Ngo Van Giang comes from an extremely difficult family background and suffers from bronchial asthma. In the recent National High School Graduation Examination, he achieved 26.8 points in Block A, making him one of the highest-scoring students in Nghia Dan district. He has been admitted to Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Meanwhile, Vo Thi Thuy, a student from Co Do High School, residing in Son Ha hamlet, Nghia Son commune, excelled with a score of 25.5 in Block C. In particular, she scored 9.75 in Geography, becoming one of the four candidates with the highest Geography scores in the 2018 National High School Graduation Examination in the province and the highest Block C score in Nghia Dan district. Thuy is an orphan, and she and her mother live with her elderly and often ill grandparents.
On this occasion, philanthropists presented each child with a gift of 1 million VND in cash and essential items such as rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, etc., to help them cover their living expenses.
