Presenting gifts to students participating in the International Physics Olympiad.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 21st, the Department of Education and Training, the Board of Directors, and the Alumni Association of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School met with and presented gifts to student Nguyen Ngoc Khanh before she departed to participate in the International Physics Olympiad.

Nguyen Ngoc Khanh, a 12th-grade student from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, previously won a Gold Medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad held in Zhejiang Province, China, last May. Prior to that, in 2014, while in 11th grade, she won a Bronze Medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad. According to plan, from July 4th to 13th, she will participate in the International Physics Olympiad in Mumbai, India.

Mr. Dau Van Mui, Principal of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, presented flowers to encourage Nguyen Ngoc Khanh to confidently enter the International Physics Olympiad.

Representatives of the Alumni Association presented Nguyen Ngoc Khanh with 10 million VND from the Association's "Golden Heart" Fund.

To congratulate Nguyen Ngoc Khanh on her achievement and to encourage and motivate her during her preparation for this important exam, representatives from the Department of Education and Training, the school's Board of Directors, and the Phan Boi Chau Alumni Association met with her and presented her with 10 million VND from the Alumni Association's "Golden Heart" Fund.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Hoang, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, once again congratulated Nguyen Ngoc Khanh on her achievements at the recent Asian Physics Olympiad, and wished her good health, continued preparation, and confidence in the competition to achieve the best possible results.

Mr. Ngo Sy Thuy, Vice Principal of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School, expressed his gratitude for the affection shown by the Alumni Association towards the teachers and students of the school.

During the meeting, Mr. Ngo Sy Thuy, the school's Vice Principal, added that in the 2014-2015 school year, the high school had 83 students who won national awards for academic excellence, ranking 3rd nationwide, further affirming its position among specialized high schools in the country. On behalf of the school's leadership, Mr. Ngo Sy Thuy expressed his sincere gratitude for the active participation of the Alumni Association in the school's general activities, helping the school expand its connections with generations of alumni, and especially in activities to express gratitude to teachers and promptly reward and encourage students who achieve high academic results.

On this occasion, Mr. Ngoc Kim Nam, a former student from the 12th graduating class and representative of the Alumni Association, thanked the school's leadership for recognizing the Association's activities over the past period, and especially the school's staff and teachers for joining hands with the Alumni Association in mobilizing generations of students to support the construction of the memorial house for Phan Boi Chau at the Phan Boi Chau historical site in Nam Dan town, Nam Dan district. In the future, the Alumni Association will continue to undertake many meaningful activities to connect more generations of Phan Boi Chau alumni to participate in activities for the common good and for our beloved Phan Boi Chau school.
