Giving gifts during the "Spring of Love 2015" campaign in Thanh Chuong.

(Baonghean.vn) - Continuing the activities of the "Spring of Love 2015" charity program, on the afternoon of February 10th, the Nghe Tinh Volunteer Club in Da Nang visited and presented gifts to students at Huong Tien Primary School in Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Ngoc Lam commune was established in 2006 as part of the resettlement program for the Ban Ve - Tuong Duong hydroelectric project. The commune comprises 14 villages and 1,380 households, of which 1,106 are poor (accounting for 80.2%). Therefore, students face many challenges in their education, lacking adequate transportation to school and warm clothing during the harsh winter months.

With a spirit of mutual support and warmth, the Club's organizing committee distributed 497 warm jackets to students; among them, 5 students with particularly difficult circumstances received an additional 5 gifts worth 200,000 VND each... This is truly a deeply meaningful humanitarian activity of the Club, as these warm jackets will help the children cope with the cold winter and bring them more joy before the New Year.
