Donate books and guide on anti-drowning skills to children in mountainous areas
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 30, the Quy Hop Police Youth Union organized the presentation of 200 books and instructions on anti-drowning skills to more than 200 students of Chau Tien Primary School.
The Quy Hop Police Youth Union organized a donation of 200 books worth about 6 million VND, including textbooks and reference books, to the library of Chau Tien Primary School to serve the teaching and learning of teachers and students at the school.

Chau Tien Primary School is known to have 100% ethnic minority students, located in a particularly difficult commune of the mountainous district of Quy Hop, many students of the school are always in a state of lack of books to study. Knowing this difficulty, the District Police Youth Union called on members of the Youth Union to contribute a day's salary to buy books for the students here.
On this occasion, the children were instructed in swimming and drowning prevention skills by Quy Hop police officers, introduced to common drowning situations and accidents in children, and first aid procedures in case of drowning.

These activities aim to create conditions to help poor students overcome difficulties to study better. At the same time, help them improve their skills and knowledge in preventing drowning accidents, especially knowing how to protect themselves and their friends when drowning incidents occur./.
