Minimum wage increased by 100,000 VND from July.
On the afternoon of June 24th, at its regular press conference, the Ministry of Interior announced the results of its activities in the first six months of the year and affirmed that the increase of 100,000 VND in the minimum wage in July will still be implemented as planned.

In the first six months of this year, the Ministry of Interior has gradually reviewed and re-evaluated the system of standards for civil servant and public employee positions to amend, supplement, and issue new job titles and professional standards for civil servant and public employee ranks; and perfected regulations on handling the responsibility of heads of departments when corruption occurs.
At the same time, organize promotion examinations based on the principle of competition and gradually innovate the content and methods of examinations to ensure fairness.
Regarding the roadmap for increasing the minimum wage, the Ministry of Interior will continue to study the proposal and submit it to the Government at an appropriate time. In the last six months of the year, the Ministry of Interior will continue to review and implement several projects such as competitive examinations for certain leadership and management positions; and incorporating the practice of saving and combating waste into the criteria for evaluating the annual work performance of agencies, organizations, and each official and civil servant.
